SUNS vs SPURS game 2

After game 1 between the Spurs and Suns fans were still catching their breath before game 2.  I'm sure ESPN Classic already has already set a time slot for that game to be aired for the week after the finals in June.  When these two teams play you just dont know what to expect, except for a hard fought game from both teams, and both team players whining about fouls.
Game 2 started just like Game 1, the Suns pretty much dominated every facet of the game in the first half, and the only reason the Spurs werent down by 30 is because their BIG 3 really came up big.  Out of the 54 first half points only 3 points were from someone else on the Spurs besides Duncan, Ginobli, and Parker.
I dont know what POP told the Spurs in the locker room but DAMN!!! They had the Suns in a chokehold in the second half.  The Suns couldnt score if their lives depended on it.  They  were terrible in the second half.  They had played about 3 mins in the fourth quarter and the Suns had scored a total of 12 points in the second half!! This is coming from one of the top 5 scoring teams in the NBA this year.  And Amare, what happened? Amare pretty much disapeared in the second half, after beating the spurs like a red headed stepchild in the first half, he was no where to be found.  Neither him or Shaq were in foul trouble so why werent they more aggressive.  Shaq looked like he had gone back to his Miami Heat days.. oh wait that was just a couple of months ago.. Isnt it funny how being traded from a lottery bound team to a Western conference Powerhouse can heal all your injuries so quickly?
Besides for a little flurry of points led by quarterback Steve Nash towards the end of the game, the Suns played as close to a Bipolarish game as they could have... Hmm... is Bipolarish a word? If not oh well.. but yea, the Suns are really going to have to turn this around, and figure out away to stop at least one of the BIG 3 cuz there is no way they will be able to stop all of them.  I would say try and stop Ginobli, this way they dont have any firepower coming off the bench.. But of course thats easier said then done...

Great Job on the blog, Mugili... I mean Ch8tan. Now I can talk basketball somewhere with you besides Myspace. It still amazes me, though, that all the "Experts" (and YOU!) can count the Spurs out when they've proven time and time again that they are on a different level in the playoffs.

Let me put it this way, if your life depended on it, would you REALLY pick against the Spurs? And if you would, thats fine, but I just couldn't...

I enjoy being alive. :)
